Very small place offering tasty dumplings and other typical Asian-American entrees. Spectacularly priced!
This place is cheap, very simple, and the ideal place for a quick lunch that's different from the Chinese food places you know. Dumplings are delicious, steamed or fried. Lines can be long during lunch, and the place is small and it's always hot. But the male up for it, for being very quick with your order.
Tiny hole-in-the-wall type place, great value tasty dumplings!
Good dumplings and other Chinese food. Sometimes food is very fast sometimes takes forever, they won’t tell you if you ask how long it will be so you just have to roll the dice. Very brusque service in general but that’s not what you’re here for. Cash only.
Purchased 50 frozen dumplings (chive & pork) for only $15! Absolutely delicious and inexpensive. Highly recommend.
Love their shrimp dumplings. So good! The fried rice is a bit greasy, but I love the taste.
I've found my new dumpling spot. Made to order and the prices feel like you've won the exchange.
I went on a tour of Metro Tech and my guide suggested this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh handmade dumplings. The food is said to be amazing!
Super cheap dumplings. Kind of on the salty side, but for this price point, it can't be beat. I had the boiled pork and cabbage dumplings and liked it.
Decent for the price but their massive use of plastic and styrofoam is disgusting. Disposable cutlery, soy/chili sauce saucers, plates, even chopsticks. Toilet didn’t work, it was hot and smoky inside, and no table service. For the person who doesn’t care about the environment it’s a great eat, but otherwise give it a miss.
Excellent food - cash only!
The go to for cheap Brooklyn Jury Duty lunch. $2 for five pork dumplings, can't be beat. Seems sketchy as hell inside, but it's legit. Styrofoam plates add to its charm
I think the place is closed down. The store sign is also gone.
Good food, great service and excellent price. You will enjoy this place should you take out the meal and forget everything about Chinese dumplings if any. Personal recommended dishes are boiled dumplings series if you don't want the food get too greasy.
Great food. Be prepaid to pay little!
Prices are like 10 years behind. It'll be delicious but probably not for you if you're concerned about your weight or health,
Very hot, no air, run down. There's a much nicer seating area outside. Had vegetable dumplings. Were what I expected.
Love these dumplings!!!! So good I want to keep them a secret.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! Unless you like roaches(YES ROACHES) in your food. I ordered the chicken dumplings with noodle soup and there was an adult roach corpse back stroking in the soup noodles. Absolutely disgusting, I've eaten here before too. I was unlucky enough to get a hitchhiker this time. if I could give zero stars I would.
I come here when I need good, cheap food that will fill me up. My go to order is the $1.25 fried chive and pork dumplings. I also enjoy the little juicy buns. The dumplings themselves are crispy, just how I like them. They are a bit greasy, but not at all too much. For a college student, this place is great for the price. I can spend $5 here and have enough food for a good meal or two. It's cash only and they only take bills under $20. Also a tip on ordering, just say the quantity and the number of the dish. It makes everything much easier.
Great food, particularly the shrimp dumplings and shrimp fried rice. The prices are excellent and the portions are generous.
Best place for a college student cheap and good food with great portions there chicken dumplings are a game changer
Fried vegetable dumplings are good. Love the fried rice as well. It's a little hole in the wall so if you're not paying attention you will miss it.
There are not that many good dumpling shops in Brooklyn and seem like I've found that made its way across the river from Chinatown to downtown Brooklyn/Fort Greene. It is a tiny, low décor shop as expected for this type of establishment. The Chinese lady at the register knew about 3 English words and had a cheat sheet in Chinese when you ordered off the English menu. The dumplings which looks like it is made fresh daily as with some of the other dishes come in the usual assorted choices...chive & pork, Cabbage & pork, soups, pancake(which was out that day when I came), and noodle dishes all made from the same dough. The prices are cheap. I guess I'll have to part the $3 dollars for 12.
The dumplings are all great, but the sesame pancake is a bit thicker than what I'm used to FYI
Love this place. So cheap. So authentic.
Affordable price, great food, great place for a quick bite in between work and classes
2 times this week i come and its been close hopefully not for good thats my sons fav spot
Cheap and hella good
Been coming here since 2011. Good quick cheap dumplings.
It's a typical Chinese take out and a cheap lunch place. The dumplings were okay, nothing to be wowed about. The mixed vegetables noodle soup was tasteless. It really tastes like water, noodle, and lots of bean sprouts. I will never order that again. I would just stick with dumplings if I ever come back again.
Cheap AF and super fast!
Great food and ridiculously low prices. Everything is made in the premises fresh every day. Super value! Highly recommended.
50 frozen fresh chives and pork for $15
The dumplings here are good. The noodle soup dishes, not so much.
Their fried shrimp dumplings are so addictive. Even if there is a line it goes very fast.
Love this place, just a whole in the wall dumpling spot. The food here is priced so low and is still quite good. The people that run this place are great
I was shopping downtown and craving something that wasn't a chain restaurant. I stumbled across Golden Fried Dumpling and was ok with their cheap prices and selection of small dishes. It's a no-frills, greasy dumpling restaurant with a small area for seating and a couple fridges for drinks. Try the boiled chive and pork dumplings.
Good food. Low prices. What more could you ask for?
The shrimp dumplings are tasty and freshly made. The chicken dumplings are cold and pre made
The place is cheap and good for a quick bite. The dumplings are nice. There isn’t much space to sit inside but there are benches outside to sit at. I would recommend going here if your looking for a quick and cheap place to have a meal.
Great place to get both boiled and fried dumplings.
My favorite work lunch. 10 fried dumplings for $4 and they're ready immediately. The dumplings are not the best you have ever had but for the price, they're unbeatable. I absolutely love this place!
Ordered fried shrimp dumplings and fried rice with shrimp. The service was quick and good. Guys don’t accept credits cards so come here with some cash. The whole place looks a little bit worn out, but who cares if the food is good. And here the food is good
Sesame pancake is solid, so are mini juicy buns.Everything here is a good buy when you're hungry. It's the most affordable place in the neighborhood. The pork fried rice has a dried salted pork vs. what most folks use, the chicken is okay, the beef is tender.Soups and Sesame pancakes are the most popular. Buns and dumplings are second. The pancakes are usually the first thing they sell out of so get there before 5 and you'll probably get lucky in snagging one. You can get egg, beef, pork, veggie and plane. It's the best thing ever!
Good healthy food at unbelievable prices. Prepared in front of you.
This place is and has been CLOSED for several months. the space is for rent
This place is a must whenever I'm around the area for work or hanging out. Their dumplings are my absolute favorite, and such a great price for the quantity. It's a very friendly staff and they work hard day in and out, there is hardly a wait if any for an order. I've recommended so many friends to go and they all loved it, they don't dissappoint, 5/5
Went here for dumplings – never again! They taste like they're made from frozen bagged dumplings, fried in the morning and served lukewarm throughout the day. The dough is thick, even hard, mostly chewy. Taste is not worth talking about.
Best dumplings in bk.. Period! My rating is based solely on the fried dumplings. I remember when they were 4 for just a Dolla here. A lil pricey now.. But so is everything else in this area... And still worth it!
